Hey friends. My wife and I are looking to start investing in the market outside of our 401ks, hsa etc. We opened a Charles Schwab brokerage account and planning to transfer 2-3k/mo. We’re in our late 20s/early 30 and likely won’t need to touch the money for 10+ years. What should be our investment strategy? How should we allocate to what funds? Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

I’ve practiced litigation in DC for about 5+ years at a larger plaintiffs’ firm, and am considering a switch to a defense firm. Is there any insight to how many billable hours this would require, and how much time that would actually be? For reference, the firm has a 1900 billable hour requirement and the partner said I would have “no problem” fulfilling that based on the work they have.

It has been in the 4 rounds for technical interviews talking to hiring manager, her peer, her boss. Yesterday was the 5th round talking to the HR director. I thought it was to negotiate salary.
