Hi,
My last working day was 11th Nov and I submitted my asset to TCS location and got the Initial release letter as well. Later on 17th or 18th of Nov, I got a message from TCS that they have sent the Packing material through Vendor, please accept it.
I didn't accept the material and cancelled it when the delivery boy came to my location.
So, is it going to create any problem in getting reliving letter? Share your thought please

I honestly think this is more of a company culture issue, but sadly have also experienced in my current and previous roles.
I agree with the idea it’s probably cultural. It could also be the person. Some people want to look good for their bosses so they are always on edge. Some leadership people love to feel important so they create a culture where everything is urgent.
If you’re in an agency unless it’s changed they are always trying to please the client so when the client has an ask they try to get it done ASAP so they can keep the client.
The best I can suggest is to provide updates via email or a one on one. I know it’s tedious but it’s the best way to CYA and hopefully get your boss off your back.
I’ve also dealt with this. In my experience my boss didn’t know how to say “no” or even “not yet” to her boss. I found project managing, publishing milestones, ensuring dates for feedback and approvals were known, etc., helped my boss manage up. She was able to push back, “here’s our schedule as you know, what do you want me to slide to prioritize this issue?” It was a lot of work on my part, Asana helped.
