Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

Hello RSM coworkers! I am thrilled to be moving to RSM into a Scheduler roll. I just found out yesterday and want to be as prepared as possible in the next steps.
So here are my questions.
How long does the background study take? I'm guessing admin staff have a study that is faster and less complicated than someone in Tax ect.
When training at home what did you need that wasn't supplied by RSM? My home office is well stocked but I want to be as prepared as possible.

Deloitte audit Vs. Grant Thornton Tax. I have an offer from Grant Thornton and From Deloitte as an Intern this summer. Deloitte is the bigger name and pays a bit better but Grant Thronton has way nicer people and known to have a way better cultre and work environment. What should I do? Citi is vulnerable till 2026 end (This is the end date of the project Bora Bora). That’s all I can say. Currently layoffs and restructuring are in progress as part of their project Bora Bora (Google it). hence situation is little dicy in every department of Citi. People are scared, frustrated and almost 90% of the Citi employees would say I’m planning to leave Citi.
Also Citi is well known for their bad work culture. Late night calls, unnecessary escalations, blame game etc are the part of their work culture. Except good pay, perks and bonuses they don’t offer anything.

Since you’re at leadership position you must be thinking that I might be any frustrated, non performant employee who is writing this negative comment hence this is about me:
1. Worked for Citi for more than 7-8 years and still not sure how I survived here this long. Cannot disclose the exact tenure, want to be anonymous.
2. Was promoted twice within a span of 3 years due to my performance, taking ownership attitude and due to my leadership skills.
It will mostly depend on org,, you are being hired for and the technical skills.
