Kearney. Much better people and less toxic work culture.
S& easy answer. The synergies with PwC are definitely a differentiator

Kearney . Any strategy firm not tied with an accounting firm is a better choice!
Kearney hands down. Better people, culture and $$ at senior levels
Not even close

Go to Kearney. Great people and culture and super interesting projects in DT practice.
@k5 this is very Europe centric. In americas DT has basically no juniors and very few managers because of a toxic leadership culture that does not promote growth or learning, and is oftentimes abusive to younger consultants.

I post this link not because Kearney is better or worse than S& —- but to show that this question has different answers every time it is asked. About a dozen Kearney employees torching it here

That’s good. I wish my consulting colleagues nothing but the best , whichever firm they go to
There are three things to solve for 1) work you like doing, 2) people you like doing it with and 3) lifestyle you want
If work and pay are the same then I think you have to ask yourself which people you’d like working with more.
I’m sure Kearney is the same but at S& there are great people and tough people - your experience will depend on how you are and how you experience the people.
Kearney if you like operations better. S& for pretty much everything else.

Every firm does everything. To sit out is essentially to not get anything from the treasure chest.
OP should go with the one where they vibed with the people best. No need to overcomplicate this
This comment section is like a Left Twix / Right Twix debate. Two sides of the same coin. Just leave and go to tech.
Can’t I eat both?
I had the same choice out of MBA recruiting and went with S&. Not going to say we’re perfect but I don’t regret it. In my experience, S& makes a real effort to care for folks and when you’re working long hours, you really feel the difference.
I haven’t been with them that long and it happens routinely to me
Strategy&. Come, join us :)
It is for DT at K and Tech Strategy at S&

S& is a cog in a larger machine. Kearney is privately owned. Rough patch in the pandemic that was fixed by super responsive leadership and industry leading raises at manager. Easy choice.

Eventually super responsive? Haha
Thanks all. Good insights
