I got a call from DXC for senior Java developer position in Bucharest (Romania). They have mentioned a pay scale of 17k to 18k RON per month after tax cutting
If i got selected I am planning to move with my family.
Will there be any savings and what would be cost of living for a 3 member family there.

SC promoted to M. 2 rating. 9.1% base increase (incl $5k promo increase), 13.6% bonus. Almost exactly what I planned for but was hoping to be surprised for once and get a lot more for a promotion year
D7, FWIW, when I made manager, I had to sell less due to independence than I expected. My husband owns stock in a pretty major audit client in my office, which I thought he'd surely have to sell, but all I had to do was report it because Consulting Ms are still fairly flexible. More of a reporting pain than a selling issue.
IMO 7.9% AIP is much shittier
S&O SC promoted to Manager. 10% salary increase. 7.9% AIP.
IMO, 10% is shitty considering the drastic increase in responsibility, independence restrictions, etc. that I now have. It may be time to throw my resume out to some head hunters to see what my market value is worth.
3rd Yr Manager, 1 rating, Tech 6.1% raise and AIP is 28.1%
@d5. What's your base now?
Well D-OP, whats your current comp and area of expertise area? My group will gear to staff up come September.
C, 3.5% raise and 4.3% AIP. Even though I started last August and had less than a full PY, it's pretty disappointing since I'm still making less than I would have been had I taken an offer I turned down a year ago from another Big 4.
C promoted to SC, YE rated a 2, 8.3% raise, 10.5% AIP
@d7 - 144,400, you?
EY1 - any chance you're looking for consulting senior managers?
I find out tomorrow. I'll be back
132k Rating 3. 2nd year Sc exp hire, also DD. Trying to figure out if it's worth waiting another year for another crappy raise and needing to sell independence conflicts
C1 -> C2. S&O. 1 rating. 9% raise. 17% bonus.
C to SC, tech consulting, 12.5% base increase (new base -113.7k), 14.5% Bonus, 1 rating
DD M to SM - 2 rating - 15% raise puts me at $172k, 19% bonus. Not quite what I expected, but also not terrible...
BTA -> C: Tech SAP: 12.8% (9% for Merit and 3.8% Promotion) rating 2.
1st yr C -> 2nd yr C ... 2 rating ... 3.7% base increase... 11.3% bonus... New base = $92k. Fair?
New base $147
AIP Is the same for consultants - 1000$
