Anyone works at Goodwin? I’ve been interested and applying in the last few weeks, so far, I am intrigued. I’m currently in the LA area, I’m planning to stay but I’m open to relocating either SF or Boston as well. If any can connect to their Recuritment or Talent Acquisition Team or any references, information or connections! Let me know!

Start at M. Build your network and learn the firm.
Not sure what it’s like at PwC, but consider that senior manager is a super serious role at Deloitte for not that much more money at the lower end of the band. Starting at that level without a network is objectively much, MUCH harder than starting as a manager.
If you’re a SM at PwC, that translates to a SM at D, do not settle for anything lower than a SM! It’s the same years of experience to SM in most practices at all B4, but it starts to diverge at that point: my understanding is that except for PwC, all the other B4 follow the same path: Staff > Snr > Mgr > Snr Mgr > Partner/MD.
EY1 doesn't have a clue. EY and D Managers = PWC SM
They’re going to down level you to Manager in all likelihood. They may saw quick SM path but take that with a grain of salt
Been with both the firms. Deloitte SM is same level as PwC Director. PwC SM was a new role introduced a few years ago by breaking the M level into M and SM levels. In terms of roles and responsibilitiesPwC director = Deloitte SM. PwC SM is technically a tenured manager at Deloitte.
Director at PWC are SM in Deloitte. Unless you are bringing in high demand skills it's going to be tough to get SM.
I’ve been at 3 of the major firms now and I will honestly say that an SM at Deloitte has significantly more responsibility and if you’re not ready, you will not last. They have sales, margin, and managed revenue quotas that you are REQUIRED to meet. This kicks in at most other firms at a MD level or only as you’re ready to go up for MD.
My experience as a direct admit is that SMs from other Big 4, unless they are year 4 or 5, are typically managers the way we utilize our managers.
Certainly been my experience for people coming from accenture, PwC and ey.
You'll most likely get a manager level role at Deloitte
