Deloitte 🐠 what does MBA sponsorship look like at your firm? How do you obtain it? Have heard that it is only offered to top performing employees.

It’s called GSAP - Graduate School Assistance Program - only available in Consulting, 2-3 year tenure requirement before applying but must leave before Manager, generally eligible to apply if you are a top performer. Requires sponsorship by 2-3 partners, a business case, and a presentation to a panel to build on your 2-3 years of strong performance. Half the MBA is paid back 1 year after you return to the firm and the other half after the second year.

Very very to hard to get it. Specially now.

Are you asking what the policy says or what actually happens?

like

Well policy jargon aside it essentially says performers who get approval and sponsorship can get it and be allowed attend a targeted B school (I hear top 10-20) based on commitment to return and work for set period. Don’t know the numbers or verbiage specifically because I havnt looked at it in a while since I didn’t qualify for MBA.

Reality from what I am told is it’s very restrictive to strategy only, don’t bother applying if your not in strategy or in a school outside a top 21+. May be exceptions.

Might be someone else that has a better understanding. Or has actually used it.

I currently earn 93k and striving to get to 150 or even 200 to be able to live the way I want to live, pay for good schooling for my children, eat organic, travel etc. Even to buy a nice house in a great neighborhood is at lease a million.
