Looking for referrals for a Technical Sales Executive position that is Remote (USA), possibly in the industrial sector. Last year I made $109k at AT&T so I'm hoping to at least stay in the same ball park but want a change. I have lots of experience selling IT/telecom, but I also have a Mechanical Engineering background so I'm a good fit for a wide range of technical sales. I have been thinking a role in the industrial sector with a longer sales cycle may be a good fit, can travel up to 25%

PHEV (specifically, RAV4 Prime) yay/nay?

Expected use case:
Family car
Low mileage (<10-11k / yr)
4-5 days a week expecting less 30 miles per day
Weekends 100-200 miles altogether (occasionally)
Rare road trip use (1x or 2x / yr; <300 miles one way)
Have garage (to charge at home)

Chief Concern: "Best of both worlds" in engineering can mean compromises and complications, which can mean non-resilient/unreliable. But I'm no gearhead, so not sure if I'm making massive incorrect assumptions.

Fellow desi folks - how do you keep your h4 spouse occupied? We are going to be marrired in january and want to provide her as much support as possible. .

She said she wants to pursue MBA but supporting her tutuion fees is currently out of limits for me given im purchasing a family home in mumbai which is going to cost me 4.5cr.

How do i bring up this topic without sounding too negative that i cant support her tution fees but can cover all other expenses (living, transport, food, travel, education

She’s on my leg and she’s snoring, but I don’t want to move since she looks so comfy. I’m her slave. Planning her birthday— go to the dog beach + eat at a restaurant with a doggie menu + get a pup cake at a dog cafe + spend a night at a hotel (having trouble finding hotels that’s allow dogs >50lbs 😒). What else can I do for her? She has too many toys & doesn’t play with them often. No need for more treats since she eats more treats than kibbles. But what gift can I get her?
