I’m trying to help a friend start a career in the advertising/marketing industry. He’s got a media and production degree, but looking for something entry-level that would give him the opportunity to explore what different departments do.

I was thinking maybe community manager roles would be a good start, but they all seem to be looking for 5+ years.

I can’t deal with the hours and the strictness of billing time. My degree is in business admin (I concentrated in accounting) and want to try something else.
