Hello ZSers,
I have been shortlisted for AC role and my HR discussion is scheduled next week.
1. Need some insights on the maximum and minimum ctc (fixed and variable) that can be offered for 3 yoe (all relevant) . My current ctc is 7.2 (6.5 fixed) . Tech stack - Big data and AWS developer.
2. Is there any joining bonus. If yes , what should be the ask.
Any inputs will be very helpful for me to go with my expectations to the HR. Thanks!

I applied with EY for a Senior Manager role I had my first stage interview with a senior manager, which I thought went well as I got the partner interview 2 weeks later, and said I'll be contact within 10 day HR. This did not happen so I chased up. Today I received feedback from HR stating that the senior manager, who would have been my peer, said I didn't have enough experience. But the partner who I would have been working under did like me.
Is this normal with EY recruitment

Interviewing is a unique skill that needs to be practiced. Unfortunately, it can have no basis or bearing on how well you can actually do your job. Success depends on how well you connect with the interviewers.
Typically, I know what to expect and I interview well when I get the chance. But I was stunned once by an interviewer, a manager who already knew me, who fired off basic questions like “why do you think you’ll do well in this role”. A solid reminder that you always need to be prepared.

Honestly it’s just been time in the industry that’s made me more confident in interviews. I think of them as a conversation, I like chatting with people so approaching it as more of a networking conversation helps me stay cool.
