Hi! I’ve started Green Card process at my firm. Both me and my spouse are working on an H1B visa. Can I / Should I be including her on my application as a dependent? If not, then what would be her path to Green Card through my status.

When should I quit my current job if I’m on a TN visa and have another job lined up? After I get the new TN at the border, or before I get the visa? I’ve got all the paperwork ready I just need to go to the border to actually get the stamp... is it ok to quit?

Hey everyone! At what stage do you think it would be appropriate to share that I am currently on an H-1B work visa? I got reached out by the CEO regarding an opportunity they are recruiting for. I applied and have made it to the final round of interviews that’s this week. In the application they didn’t ask about sponsorship or anything, and I didn’t want to automatically disqualify myself by telling them before giving my final round presentation. My final interview is Tuesday.

For those who separated from Deloitte in May / June and are still looking for a new role, how are you broaching the employment gap with new employers? It’s now September and I’m still looking for a new role. I feel like each passing day speaks to an employment gap, which may deter future employers. I’ve been taking an online data analytics in the meantime to pass the time. Any advice on this topic would be helpful!

Recommendations for improving lower back / sciatica pain. Is there a seat cushion / lumbar support cushion that genuinely helps you? I’m all ears. I have a high quality office chair and try to use my desk in standing mode at least once a day and wear good trainers for feet support. But the lower back pain is a killer.
