Mine was rough. I quit my first job to backpack across southeast asia.
But what I genuinely learned through the process was:
1. good physical health -> good mental health -> good spiritual and emotional health -> good social health
2. Find people who you enjoy spending time with and make as many memories as you can
3. Do the things you want to do (within reason), stop putting them off and finding excuses (from traveling to places you you always wanted to skydiving to learning a new language)
4. Find a hobby (or a couple). But do it consistently, and make sure it's something you enjoy. Even better if it's a social hobby
5. Spend less time comparing (it's the thief of joy)
6. I don't drink, but I would avoid heavy alcohol/recreational drug consumption
7. Volunteer and give back with your time. It will pay back in multiple dividends
8. Don't try to get in any relationships
9. Start creating goals you want to achieve, and making progress towards them. Not goals for society, but goals for yourself
10. Seriously, work out regularly
This pandemic isn't helping anyone, but I'm sure once it's over life will feel lively again and you'll feel better
Hey this was very helpful. Thank you so much!
SAME 😢
*hugs*
Enjoy this ride called life. Focus on making yourself HAPPY! Save a little money, enjoy things you want. Go where you want and more importantly LOVE YOURSELF!!
Honestly, I think the mindset and lessons I learned may help and hurt at times. I had to really check myself and understand I can’t do it all and I sure as heck don’t know it all (still don’t). But I’m ok being uncomfortable reaching out and asking for help in any aspect of life (this last part eases my nerves and it is still hard). You can send me a private message and we can connect. I’ll give you my LinkedIn and I’m always readily available to just talk with no judgement.
Same but I’m 27 😩😭
Fwiw I made the decision to move to a new city to help me get more control of my life. Transfer is approved and moving in a couple months. Terrified and anxious but at least I’m doing something.
Omg fun!! I’m also ex-acn btw. OP, I don’t know a single soul in LA 😀😅
Looking for roommates now though
But, but, it’s a new day. New president. New America. The future is going to be a utopia my friend. No more Covid. No more hate. No more division. We are rejoining the world community and we will once against be loved by the entire world. No, I say there is much to be happy about today. It’s the dawning of a year of wonderful things. Get out there and be a part of it.....responsibly of course.

I have bad news for you, it’s not quarter-life...it’s probably third-life...
But in all seriousness, just enjoy the ride - there’s nothing anyone can do besides that.
Haha I come from one of those countries. But I feel like my experiences here in the US have really spoiled me. Sometimes I forget how life was before
I became a consultant
Quarter life crisis is real. But now it's mostly the pandemic ruining your life. Ride it out and revisit the quarter life crisis when we're out od the woods.
Hang in there. I felt the same way 20 years ago. :-) Take some risks, have as much fun as you can, explore.
