Didnt know Google also ghost candidates after scheduling interviews... It was surprising... They ghosted me twice...is this common?

How do you recruit for startups? Exhausted from lack of responses from cold networking. What else should I do? I am aiming for roles in early stage startups. Didn’t study or work for long in US so don’t have a strong network.

Today I got the job offer and they are offering me 54k. My current company is making me 50k with tons of benefits which is why I am asking for 60k.

Got to a modeling round for a PE Firm and it’s later today. Really like the people but not a big fan of the investment strategy. Wondering if withdrawing from the process right now would hurt my relationship with the HH’s?

Hi.. I applied for an opportunity in UBS which I saw in Linkedin around 10-12 days back and I did receive a kind of automated email for online assessment. I took the assessment but post that I didn't hear anything. I see that job in linkedin is still accepting applications.

What shall I conclude from this? Is my profile not shortlisted for interview or they usually took many applications and then decide who shall be called for interview?

At a dead end and don't know what to do besides stop! I've been job searching everyday, some days several hours for 8 months straight. I’m about a month post FET, and after a positive beta I was feeling all of the classic symptoms (like nausea) from like week 5-6. But, this last week the nausea has significantly subsided (though not completely gone). Has this happened to anyone? We have our first ultrasound in a week - so nervous!

Just saw that Airbnb's salary range for a 2+ years experience Data Scientist in US is 129k -180k USD.
In INR its 95L- 1.4cr. But in India do they pay even 30L to 4 years yoe?
Last year I saw such salary range for 4+ yoe in US. But in India its yet to increase.
In this quarter these companies have started negotiating in the name of US recession. Irony is salary range didn't decrease in the place where the recession is supposed to occur.

I have an interview scheduled

I completed my interview loop at Google on August 12, 2022. My recruiter informed me on August 29th that due to a couple of realignments within the org, the hiring manager has not shared any feedback. I was informed on September 8th that the hiring committee is scheduled the next day (September 9th) and that I can expect a final feedback latest by September 12th. I wasn’t informed of the results and reached out, but the recruiter isn’t replying to my emails. Does this mean I was rejected?
