I was hired to manage the maintenance program, only to get here and physically do the work. 2 years later and being on-call daily but still expected to burn both ends of the candle and it does seem good enough for the corporate leadership. Career advice that I give to the people I manage- do one more thing everyday that you weren’t going to do or didn’t feel like doing- for your team or for your client. Could be notes, a follow up, a reminder, raising your hand to tackle and drive something-whatever. That little extra effort against something you didn’t “have” to do, every day, overtime will make you invaluable

Is there such a thing as getting promoted TOO quickly? Just got the bump to AS after 10 months as an AE. Not at all typical at my agency (usually 5 to 8 YOE). I picked up a lot of opportunity after turnover last year. I am, of course, thrilled, but do wonder if it'd put the validity of my agency in question when looking at my resume. Am I crazy? I'm probably crazy.

I got a promotion a year and 3 months ago, and got a pay raise 5 months ago. Could I still ask for a promotion to SAE if I have been supporting a team more as one? Promotions are hard to stab with.
