Do any of you use LEGO robotics products in the classroom or afterschool programs? They have a bad habit of rolling out new products and then abandoning them without proper training to encourage adoption.

Their new robots were just dropped into the market with no warning and not enough information to make me feel comfortable. It’s frustrating.

I realize it is going to be challenging for me this year...with so many of my students performing below grade level expectations in ELA and MATH and also ensuring that all students follow the COVID Guidelines in the classroom. I read this super interesting article about how big companies like Toyota are investing in social-emotional training for their employees and seeing massive benefits. I actually think this could be a whole separate class for students of all ages. Learning about conflict resolution, growing your own self-regulation skills...it's really important.
