So- we run Dynamic Creative Optimization (DCO) for our clients display ads in a feed and corresponding google sheet via Google DoubleClick. My q is- does anyone know what systems out there allow for creating a template that will automatically pull a product image from say Target.com and automatically building the ad & copy without manually making 1000 ads via row for row in the google sheet? I know this is possible but curious if Sizmek or Flashtalking are more common in this type of creative development.

I came from big four and I went to mbb - drastically different. I had a lot of big four friends that rushed into t2 firms too (kearney, Lek, ow) during the pandemic and they have a similar experience. You just get exit opps that specifically ask for strategy experience - if you’re going to tech, instead of being a program manager, you could go into product or strategy & ops at faang. Finance (vc/pe/growth) opens up. Corporate development opens up. Top bschools view you much more favorably. People hear your company and are willing to introduce you to places in high places that are recruiting. List goes on
I felt like a cog in a wheel @ big 4 and the exit ops felt that way too
No. Outside of our little bubble nobody know who any of our companies are. When I interviewed with Google they’d never heard of Deloitte except for seeing their name on a building one time.

4 firms that collectively make $150B in revenue. I’d expect people to have heard of them — each B4 firm would be F500 if we were public.

Can I share the difference between prostitution and a massage? Uh, yeah, one is a rub and one is a rub and tug.
Most tech exits I saw when I was at ACN were for like product analytics roles. A lot of tech Corporate Strategy / Bizops roles tend to be 80% MBB. I think PM with MBB is a lot easier too, albeit still tough. Also at MBB recruiters tend to reach out to you for these roles.
Then there’s the wide world of PE, where it’s nearly all MBB.

Yes, no
Most people don’t exit to tech. And they are wildly different

Big 4 has some strong groups but you could just as easily be put on a project where people think consulting equates to “ask the client what the answer is and write it down”.
The biggest difference is the variance in big 4 vs our firms.
As others have mentioned, most people do not exit to tech (especially not recently) and even for the ones that do, not all 'tech' roles are the same
No one knows or cares about big4 in tech. They assume it is accounting and payroll
I thought it was just accounting but I'm not in tech
If you’re in a group at the big 4 that executes on a similar deliverable, your exit opps are the same. That being said, most big 4 are not in a practice that directly competes with MBB.
I’ve noticed many big4 and ACN in product management roles bc of the implementation and execution experience. Im also a PM in tech
