Hi, Is it good to join Salesforce for Technical Consultant role (YOE - 3.2 years) ?
I checked with few of my connections, they saying I will be mostly allocated to Salesforce industries (Vlocity) project. Please suggest about the team structure and work life balance for this role.
and also in future, is it possible to apply for IJP in Salesforce ?
Please provide your thoughts on this.
Thanks

If you quit then you quit. If you let EY fire you and someone calls to get a reference the firm will verify that you were employee between X and Y dates and that you were fired for cause. You will burn a bridge. You will have violated your employment agreement. The firm may sue you to get your salary back while you were working two jobs. They may also contact your current employer and let them know. You will put your reputation at risk in an industry where everyone does really know everybody else - we are a true seven degrees of separation industry. So I would say the choice is yours, but one is a fine decision and the other is not only wrong and I really mean wrong, but also makes you a true dumbass
... this is a ridiculous ques. If u quit, you quit. What's with this crazy plan
“It’s wrong” stfu. Working 80 hour weeks is wrong. I wouldn’t be pissed about it
But yah if you are staying in the same industry, you are fucked cause partners know a lot of people
EY3, it’s pretty common in my LOS for staff to be unassigned for weeeks or months at a time if we’re not actively working to get staffed. I imagine I could go 2-3 months before anyone starts asking questions.
If you think you could get away with this without consequences you are an idiot. I have been in this biz more than 20 years.. it is a small world and those around you, including the partners, know way more than you think. Also, don’t trust that your peers would say anything.. I saw that happen several years ago with a staff 1. He was ratted out by peers for the fact that he just regularly wouldn’t show up for work. Firm security pulled his badge swipe history and he was fired and everyone knew it.. that reputation followed him. Keep in mind the small world we are talking about extends into industry as well as the other B4. I get asked all the time “unofficially” what I know and think of someone. Those are the requests you have to think about, not the names you out down as referrals. Those are meaningless as we all know they will only say good things. I have friends at all the other b4 and for sure I ask about candidates coming to EY..and they ask me about people coming from EY
EY doesnt tell of you were fired they only confirm start and end date. I would say if you never plan on coming back to EY, do it. Call sick for 2 weeks, stay on the bench for a couple of weeks, book vacation. Fuck it, i say take 4 months off for paternity too, no one will find out
I think somebody missed the whole thing about ethics and professionalism! Perhaps you should consider a career as a bail bondsman or pre-need funeral salesman
Cut the drama and just quit
Just quit
What LoS are you in that you can go 2-3 months without work and not have any issues?
You need to grow up. As many have mentioned above this is a small world and people talk. Your reputation is probably the most important thing you should be concerned about. How will you be perceived. Remember the world PERCEPTION
You could got sued by the firm.
Lmao I know like 5 people in my office that could’ve potentially asked this question
EY1, are you HR?
EY6 - No; ITS Partner
^ find that hard to believe given your responses above.
Tax Advisor 1 - How so?
Plz do not do that. Have some decency.
Even if youre unassigned, you should still be online, on call. Tho if youre unassigned for months, that's a good time to look elsewhere
