Do more doors open if you pass CFA exam? What career paths can you take if you have accounting degree from college and passed both CPA and CFA exams?

You’ll be a financial god. Expect 100k starting

like

Yes but it’ll still be somewhat hard to get your foot in the door as an analyst / in finance without a connection if your background is in Audit. Definitely can do it, just not as easy I’d say even as directly out of school with a finance degree. If you don’t want to be an accountant anymore, and would rather be an investment analyst, work in private equity front office or banker (for example), CFA will definitely help in your transition. In my experience though, if one of those three or the like are possible goals, it’s less effort and time to spend the time networking / pitching your story to make the switch (assuming you have some basic economics or finance degree rather than just accounting).
