Need a good recommendation for a home office chair. I work from home a lot and need a new chair. My new one isn’t cutting it for me- it’s not comfy and I have lower back pain.

Thinking about going independent and operating out of my home office. Does anyone have any thoughts to share about that? I’m wondering about clients coming to my home and FINRA issues.

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? First time visiting this city so it’d be great to take in some sights too (although that’s not a priority of course).

My back hurts so I’ve been laying on the floor looking at Fishbowl all day instead of doing my job.

I’m worry that I still have like 45 years more to be retired and can’t stop working because I have a f* mortgage to pay 😭 I have a super ergonomic workstation, but I know my hand needs a long rest, and I can’t do it… Does anyone relate? I am looking at a Uplift standing desk as my big splurge because I have back issues, and the room I work in has horrible lighting so I’m considering some sort of selfie light ring type thing that I can clip to my monitor. Planning to do a PRM or FRM qual. How useful is it to move from Big 4 Risk and reg consulting to industry? Finding it hard to get anything other than non-PM roles

We use Deloitte India for a number of parts of our delivery. Recently I have seen some unethical practices that violate labor laws and do not align with Deloitte principles.
