Deloitte it’s NTAG, if you’re in BTS it depends on your office.

I would think all the top 10 firms do and even beyond that

like

Yes Crowe has it and it did work on some very large corporations when I was there.

like

Yes. BTS and NTAG

Most firms are provision and compliance, not just provision unless you are part of their national team. PwC has changed the name of the group like 4 times in 4 years so no idea what it’s called now but it used to be ITP. EY has TARAS which actually is only provisions and is their national group. Not sure on KPMG and Deloitte.

like

TARAS is now more than just a National Group. It has teams devoted to each Region. The formerly national TARAS team is now integrated into the local regions where they sit.

Not much different than what you wrote but I came here to clarify that it is not as "scary" as "National" sounds. :-)

If you're interested in tax provision work, TARAS is awesome. Great people across the board.

It's PCS or Private at PwC and BTS at Deloitte

like

it's not PCS. It's the federal tax group (ITP)

likesmart

Yes, they do.

I was wondering the name of the group that they call at those firm

Sometimes ASC740. Most of time just called federal tax

Don’t do it

Any insight?

PwC has an ASC 740 group that does just provision work

Would appreciate any insight. Thanks in advance.
