Currently a Solutions Consultant at Pegasystems.
I am interviewing at and considering making a jump to Oracle as a Specialist Solutions Consultant.
The reason for my move is currently at Pega SCs are treated more as AEs or Account Managers. The role at Oracle would be more of a true SC position. I also feel that Oracle will look BETTER on a resume and someone as young as me would have BETTER programs in place to train me and give me the foundation needed to be a successful SC.
Thoughts?

I recommend the book Mastering Technical Sales as well as the Brown/Black Belt courses from seleadership dot com.
Mastering Technical Sales is by Aron Bohlig and John Care.
Can you provide additional information on the industry and type of technologies / products you support? I'm assuming you're working as an SE in software

I have 50 questions (what's your background prior to being an SE, what tech stacks do you often use at work, what is your ratio of "standard" demos to builds / pilots, etc). If I am to make a few assumptions, if guess that web applications (APIs, system config), security, and data manipulation / analysis are important to you as a SaaS SE. Of these categories, is there one that you feel weakest in? I'd start with udemy/coursera coursework along those lines. But if that's not helpful, I think more info about where you'd like to develop currently or where you'd like to take your career will yield some better recommendations from the group.
