Do we need to declare all client sites / cities we work out when on H1B as work sites? Do you all take permissions for every new client colocation?

Hey freelance designers! What’s your going rate for a logo design/branding project for a mid-size company these days?

Getting ready to take on a project with a local real estate company branding a new subdivision but I haven’t done one of these in a few years and don’t want to undercut myself on compensation.

Is there a minimum period you have to be working at kpmg in order to start looking to explore internal moves - from client facing to internal specifically ?

If the ultimate goal is to move in pharma/biotech (bd / strategy type role), does prestige of consulting firm matter? Or would it be better to work for less known firm that may have more client facing opportunities?

Considering taking on a side project but don’t have a ton of experience managing my own clients. Anyone have experience charging by deliverable vs. hourly or day rate?

I’ve been in the US for 3 years on L1, now considering switching jobs bc my employer wants me to return to Europe eventually while I’d prefer to stay in the US. Moved to Canada on a work permit but recently got my PR approved. It’s been a 4 month wait to get the actual PR card and I have a family trip coming up soon. Can I still travel and get back into the country with no issues given that I still have a work visa (W1) on my passport? Not sure if my change of status nulls my current visa

Base salary: 120k

Sign-on bonus:10k

Bonus: 15%

No stock options

My work gives us points/money for achieving certain activities such as exercising for 180 mins per week. I have my Apple Watch automatically sync with the app that tracks our activities and it works great. Problem is I started using NRC (Nike run Club) app for runs and it interferes with the Workout app on my Apple Watch and it doesn’t get tracked. I realized I've been a dummy for getting a job at a creative agency and not working on my portfolio. BAL is taking its own sweet time to file my H1B transfer. My LCA was approved on Dec 30. They have all the documents needed to file and give me an update every week saying they will be filing it shortly. Any of you folks experiencing the same ?
