I’ll be completely transparent. My salary is $76k with a 10% bonus structure.

According to Glassdoor (which I believe is fairly accurate) the national average total compensation is $77k.

Given what I do for a medical company, I feel vastly underpaid, especially since I have my master degree. The growth of our company merits little acknowledgment from our leaders given salary discrepancies throughout our division.

Given my experience (3 years) paired with my education, I would expect to be closer to $90,000 to be completely honest.

If you don’t mind sharing, what are you currently at in terms of compensation?

This is for a Supply Planning position by the way.

No. By about $35k

like

No, about $10k less than I think I should

like

I sell logistics and make 48k. Not including maybe a few thousand in commission. I should have a 60k base and go from there.

like

You might be able to get a raise if you show how much value you have provided to your organization. I’m in the boat where I think I’m getting underpaid by $20k. I currently make $70k living in Ohio. Our procurement organizations goal is to provide a minimum 4x savings of what we cost. So far I’ve provided $365k in savings which is 5x more than my salary. Theoretically , I should be getting minimum base $90k. Going to be bringing this up at my mid year!

I started working as a consultant with EY 8 months ago. Even though I'm content and learning a lot there, I think there are places where I might easily earn more money. I received a job offer last week from Alvarez & Marsal to work as a consultant at the Transaction Advisory Department (financial due diligence team), where I will be paid more fairly (salary & bonus). Should I accept it? Or would leaving EY that early not be wise?

Hi Guys,

I am a ReactJS developer (frontend) with 3.8 years of experience. I currently switched my company but they don't have an opening for ReactJS and kept me on a bench for 3 months and they are telling me now to learn AEM technology and work on the AEM project for now.
They hired me for a package of 16 LPA.
So my questions are is it a good technology to learn? Should I say yes and have a career in it?
Will I get the same package like ReactJS or less? What is future if compared with React?

Saw an article about the chilling effect that the Big Law salary raises are having on in house hiring since associates cannot bear to take the pay cut. Do we believe this? Of course if an in house role offers less than a first year salary it’s a tough pill to swallow, but what if the role offers in the mid-200s for a substantially better WLB? Thoughts??
