Oh hell no. Division of church and state.
No. Makes it harder for folks I cuss out to find my employer and report me.
Not right now, since i’m not actively looking for a job and ads are not life. It def helps when you’re seeking to network and/or land a gig, people will always look you up.
Also, i like to delude myself into thinking my career doesn’t define me cause i’m more than my job.
Nope. Want to keep it separate from my personal life, and I also think it looks obnoxious.

Freelancer, so I put my title and link to my book into any text field I come across. If I was full-time at an agency though, those would both disappear.
no because my job is not my life
Nope, it doesn’t define me — on Twitter I may say a “currently in the ad world” or along those lines but never my company.
i do, @ad_recruiter has the best advice on this
Nah
Not for me but I respect the hustle
Rising Star
Twitter, yes. Instagram, no.
I will actually engage with some advertising stuff on Twitter, so it feels relevant. But my Instagram is just dumb photos of my family, friends and pets. Very removed from my job.
Yeah. My social is professional and my personal life for myself. If I had a full time staff job I wouldn’t though. Freelancers need to market themselves more
Absolutely not, but I also don’t work in a billable roll like creative, production, etc.
My socials are for my side hustles/passion projects which are creative, and I purposefully keep all of that separate from my day job (which is definitely not).
I keep my personal life and work life separated. If I want to be good at my job as a social ad buyer, I have to actually use the platforms natively and get how the communities work. If I put my job/agency on there it would turn into this performative place meant to be a portfolio. If I want to network there are places for that other than my personal social channels.
