Typically try to send rejections for all applicants I have reviewed within 2-4 days post application. Of course, as the interviews progress at times I don’t have time to review all applications. Try to close out job postings if I am no longer reviewing new apply though.

Having an ATS that automates a large part of all this is helpful, but I know not everyone has that focus/mindset.

For anyone who practices tax lit in the US Tax Court, what’s your experience with the independent office of appeals? They don’t seem quite that “independent” to me and so far, I’ve only had one appeals officer who seemed knowledgeable and nice. It’s been a real headache.
