Does a digital director level position - approx base salary 160-180k with a company that has 100,000 employees (if you include their stores), 12b rev, 4 b net income, seem to be a stretch for a consultant with 5 yrs of experience & 2 yrs of launching/running business? The majority of their income comes from in person. Online is approx 200 mill. rev, net profit of 50 mill. About to be promoted to mgr this yr.

We talked then I sent him recommendation letters from my previous employers. He said that I should have an answer from them this week whether I get an offer or not. Recently started a new project, everyone’s remote, handful know each other, most know no one. Few newer hires. I want to set-up some kind of laid back happy-hour w/out work but I’m failing to find a way to make that happen with 10ish people and I am trying to avoid the mandatory fun vibe. So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. I lived in VA for 8 months of 2019 and then moved to DC for the last 4 months. I got a federal and state refund from VA, but now owe DC “state” taxes because apparently they were not taken out of my paycheck. However, I changed my address in my firm’s system right when I moved... is this an issue on my firm’s part or did I screw something up?
