Client wants to set up an LLC where a President gets 25% of the membership interests but contributes no capital other than his services. Governance is supposed to be handled by the vote of the members based on percentage ownership. It seems like the President is going to recognize tax on the value of his contributed services unless we structure his interests as profits interests. Would welcome anyone’s thoughts. I am Java Backend Developer with 3.6 years of experience in financial services domain. I have two offers- one from AppDirect (16 LPA +10% yearly bonus), other from Mastercard (16.5 LPA+7% variable with 100% payout at year end). Dear Peanut paying companies (TCS especially), don’t you have some basic manner in valuing the precious time of Candidates? When you’re scheduling interviews, you asked about the current salary and expectation. Even though knowing the peanut you’re going to offer is way below Candidate’s current salary, why are you still processing for further interviews?
