Does anybody have experience using LightCast?

I'm mainly involved in Talent Intelligence for Experienced Hires at a Consultancy (Director / Partner level). I currently use LinkedIn Talent insights, which has a decent coverage of competitors etc.,

It seems like LightCast might be more useful to those casting a wider net in terms of talent they are looking for, whereas my needs are much more specific.

Is LightCast a good platform / what is the usability like?

So I’m currently interviewing for another position, to be a business development specialist at a relatively large tech company in PA. I have about a years worth of experience. Indeed estimates the salary to be between 60k-80k, I was wondering what I should expect?

I am planning on asking for a raise in my base salary and I am unsure what the market price would be for my skills at a staffing agency. I am in the top producer at my company with over 50 producers. I generate an average of $120k in GM per quarter. I am approaching my first year end review and I am currently at a base salary of $70,000 and I have 3 years of prior experience in the industry. Why is education deemed more valuable on a pay scale than experience? Employers will pay someone with a degree and no experience a greater salary, than someone who has exhibited the experience. Understanding that the degreed person committed to school and finished, yet that doesn't diminish what the not degreed has committed to and accomplished in their careers. This has to stop!

Anyone know of an alternative to StackOverflow for asking tech questions? The community is super toxic and I'm looking for a place I can casually ask questions that might seem dumb without being hrangued for not providing an essay proof of the research I've already done. Or some sort of buddy system where I can ping a person of relevant experience those questions.
