Nope. All I care about is having more money and time to spend with my family.
Yes. Those are benefits and can add up if you use them. I get a great discount on my gym membership and that gives me more usable income. Coffee bars make going into the office more tolerable (and I only go in a few days/month). Pre-VID we had casual days on Fridays and that made it less stressful that one day/week to get ready in the morning.
At least at my firm, yes I value them. Wow fund, wellness fund, etc have been heavily utilized.
I care about fitness benefits.
They're definitely important to some extent. I don't work with a company solely for the benefits, but they definitely add up. My previous place offered us memberships to Equinox, and the total value of that every year is around $3500, which is pretty hefty and I got a lot of use out of it. Don't sleep on the perks!
Yes unless you’re a lazy blob
Fitness benefits and insurance
Yes, very much love the mentioned perks BUT doesn’t replace salary/insurance benefits
Money money money
If the compensation package isn't good enough to already be attractive, these things don't make up for that imo. All things being equal, though, I do think they make a difference - I'd miss the perks if I left for somewhere that didn't have them, even if the money was better.
Nope!! When do you have time or energy? Coffee? I don't drink it. Shopping? Nope, too expensive, etc
Yes I do. I want that free lunch
If kpmg paid for my gym memberships id be less inclined to try and leave....and the 20 dollars off a 200+ dollar lifetime/equinox membership we get isnt what i mean
