Does anyone actually enjoy work trips? I’m currently in a luxury hotel in Charlotte for a client meeting, and I haven't seen anything but the lobby, the conference room, and the inside of an Uber. Everyone thinks business travel is so glamorous, but it’s really just working your normal 12-hour day in a slightly less comfortable chair and eating room service club sandwiches alone. I miss my own bed.

Any advice on how to shift from agency to client side? Any resume pointers would be much appreciated.

Unreliable coworker help - There’s a coordinator on my team who assists me and the other strategists but literally every time I ask her to help with something she says yes & then waits until the last minute to tell me she wasn’t able to do it/makes up an emergency excuse. Trying to be understanding but this is getting ridiculous- she/parents/dog/boyfriend are sick (8x), forgot about another urgent project (10x), WiFi is down or power is out RIGHT when I ask for help (5x).

Currently I work for a small company that does the construction of small cell utility poles and roof top sites for the major cell carriers like VZW, T-mobile, AT&T and so on. I am a project coordinator but I do everything under the sun. Created project tracker. Unsure about what to do.. worked as an analyst out of school for $60K 2017-2019. Left after 1yr due to a toxic work environment & to care for my grandpa who had cancer in 2019. Was out of work for 2 years & now have an offer in accounting for the government at $40K. Should I take it because any job is better than nothing or should I keep interviewing & wait for something more aligned with my goals & salary expectations.
