Does anyone else feel that it is completely inappropriate for vendors to call your personal phone if they can’t get a hold of you via LinkedIn or your work email?

I have ignored many of these outreaches because I have said we are not interested in the past, but they circle back after a certain amount of time but I feel that my personal phone number is crossing the line. Am I being unreasonable?

Female here and I hate to say it! But whenever I’m pull to a new project I secretly hope I don’t get a female lead. 😞 I had some interesting experiences with women leads, which it does not apply to all women!, but I feel a bit hesitant and I feel is ptsd lol how can I overcome this mentality?! Taking my shot in tech sales. Consulting was great experience but enjoyed the relationship and BD aspect more and didn’t see myself climbing to partner. Starting in a junior BD Rep role to learn prospecting and earn quota history. Took a big paycut for the potential future earnings as an Account Exec. Did I dun goof? Probably. But I’ll regret it forever if I didn’t take my chance now when I’m still single and young-ish.

Why did Toronto (or Canada?) change the exit signs from the classic red EXIT sign to the green running man? Wouldn’t it confuse more people especially elders in finding the exit?

Also isn’t it a waste of money for businesses to replace perfectly functional exit signs when renovating?
