I agree with you, it's just too much. But, what to do if not that?
everyone's ADHD is different, but I personally struggle creating and maintaining any connections over messages/text and it's a lil weird to just push for meeting people you don't know well sometimes. I like timeleft because it sets you up with a group for dinner with conversation topics, and for someone like me it's a much more natural way to get to know people. Afterwards there's an optional bar to go get drinks together and you can rate the people at your dinner in the app so it better learns who to match you with. You get to know more people at a time, in a relaxed setting
I'm the same way. I get some matches, but I have a hard time keeping conversations going very long because I get bored and distracted so easily. The thing that's worked best for me is trying to set up a date early on while I'm still engaged and interested. I have a much easier time connecting in person vs. texting.
ADHD makes it hard to stay satisfied—even in a relationship, I catch myself wanting to move on. Sometimes I wonder if staying single with friends-with-benefits is just a better fit in NYC.

Yes. But for me the biggest factor is work. It takes so much out of me, to get 40+ hrs of work done per week, that I am too exhausted to keep up with the demands of life. My cup isn't even full enough for a single person, let alone to share.
And it probably takes me nearly 60 hrs to get 40hrs of work done, due to issues of focus and executive function.
