There's nothing wrong with that. You should get up and move around regularly, if you sit too long it's honestly not good for you. You can develop problems with your circulation if you don't stand up and walk around a bit. It can also exacerbate problems with your hips. Don't worry about what anyone else thinks, do what's best for your own health.
I'm the exact same way, I always need to reset after long hours at the desk. A quick break, snack, or step outside always helps me clear my mind and recharge. It’s all about staying productive, so don’t worry about how it might look, taking care of yourself is important for staying sharp!
Not lately
Of course
I hit a wall if I sit still too long. I’ll step outside with my coffee or do a quick walk around the building. Sometimes, I even take calls while pacing because it helps me focus better. I’ve stopped worrying about what people think. I know I’m sharper and more productive when I let myself move a little.
I usually walk over to my colleagues in another row and talk to them. But, I'm always in the office.
Yes, I would say one of my biggest weaknesses. Lately is keeping my mind focused on my work I often find myself daydreaming or my eyes wandering away from my computer. We’re not encouraged to get up and walk away from our computer if it’s not break time so I often don’t have the ability to like reset my mind so I just kind of sit there on the struggle bus.
Literally all the time. I have bad ADHD to begin with so I already struggle with focusing for long periods of time. It definitely helps me to get up from my desk and take a lap and then come back to whatever I was working on from time to time.
