Does anyone have a budgeting template or app they recommend? Moving to a NYC for work post grad. Trying to estimate my monthly income and expenses prior to moving.

Additionally, any areas of NYC you recommend living in and visiting? Base salary is $75k + $5k sign on. TC is heavily bonus dependent, so for the first year I plan on living off base and sign on of $80k.

What would you recommend doing with extra cash after max 401k and IRA? Open a brokerage account and continue to invest in the market or diversify into real estate/small business? Total noob btw...

I'm Canadian and applied to a US remote role. Canadians don't need a visa for this. One of the ways would be to use Canadian entity's hr/payroll services. They showed keen interested but waned since finding out I'm Canadian.
