I want to thank everyone in this bowl for getting me trough the nightmare that is PCOS related fertility issues. After 1.5 years of trying, two rounds of medicated IUI, accupuncture and every other homeopathic treatment available, a vanished twin…. Hubby and I welcomed our little girl on Friday at 37 weeks. I currently work as an APM at a FAANG company but recently received an offer to join an MBB. I’m very excited about the role but didn’t realize I’d need to take a pay cut when I applied (~100k base + ~20k bonus + ~60k equity vs. 90k base + 10-20k bonus). Considering that I currently work 40-60 hours/week, I’ll be making significantly less per hour at the MBB. How does your firm measure utilization? I work for a small boutique that defines it as utilization = number of billable hours/2,080 and full bonus payout occurs at 80% plus.
