Does anyone have any feedback or tips in preparing for a finance role (financial analyst) with Google? My background is in big 4 public accounting but would like to eventually try and make the pivot. As of now, I have just 2.5 YOE but I know that a lot of ppl on this bowl have mentioned that Google typically looks to hire ppl with 4+ YOE. As of now I have just been doing a Google data analytics course through Coursera to buff up on some data visualization skills along with SQL and R.

Got an offer within Product Ops (Mt View) for L4, 145k base, 15% bonus, 185k equity (33/33/22/12), 15 sign on. One competing offer (that is lower) and only MBB promotion to Engagement manager in a few months as leverage point. Any fish guidance on how the offer fares up / how to proceed / what comp I should push for?

A recruiter emailed me saying they saw I applied for a role as a referred candidate, and they are “sharing my resume with the recruiter supporting this role for further review.” Is this a good sign? I’m surprised a recruiter reached out about my application who isn’t the recruiter for the job. Trying to moderate my hope if it’s not actually that promising?
