Does anyone have entry level Martech jobs?

I am an active learner and I’m hungry for a job that can both teach me but also leverage the skill sets I have. I work primarily with no code tech stacks like airtable, zapier, slack, active campaign, mailchimp, mailerlite, convertkit, and pretty much most no code platforms.

I’ve worked at places that all have different holiday policies. EA has at minimum a nice 10 day shutdown from Christmas Eve through New Years. It’s great to know that there will be no slack messages or an exploded inbox to come back to while away. I’ve been at other studios that only give you Christmas Eve & Day and New Years Eve & Day and then the rest is up to you to request for PTO and this is obviously the suck.

Almost done with second weeks in industry. I absolutely LOVE IT! Ive been making a point to reach out to people from different teams via Slack and arrange a quick meet and greet zoom call. Been introducing myself mostly to the heads of each department, head of marketing, head of sales, head of product development. to get a better idea of what everyone does, and asked sales/product for walkthroughs of the products so that I know exactly what we offer as a company

Generally curious how many companies offer phone reimbursement? My last gig did not but the current one does. Legally it seems, all employers are required to do so if we use our phone in literally any capacity (video call, slack, teams, emails etc). How prevalent is the issue of not reimbursing phone dues?

Anyone figured out a good way to keep hearings public? I'm trying to figure out if I can get the courts to post zoom links for hearings somewhere.

Why doesn’t Visa use collaborative tools like Slack and Google Workspace? I’m guessing it’s not a budget issue.

Has anyone had a client request zoom and virtual house showings?

IEP, 504, and those without internet will return in-person next week while rest of students remain remote. Regular Ed teachers may have students (mild Learning Disabled kiddos) in their room while teaching. They are saying it’s a liability issue if they have one student in the room with them, even though teaching other via Zoom. Thoughts? Anyone else experiencing this?

I was recently offered a Zoom interview. The school had 10 interview slots for me to choose from. Three were one day this week and the rest are next week. I chose the first time slot available. Should I have waited until one of the last slots so I was fresher on their mind when choosing a candidate? I am just sitting here stressing out until I here something. Also, do interviewers still appreciate a hand written thank you for the interview?

I joined Accenture last week , and I m planning to leave Accenture as I am not getting any reply from PMO for the project. When will Accenture create pf account? If I don't tell the another company will there be issue when they try to create PF?

I'm getting a MAcc to career change to forensic accounting. What opportunities are available to me with a data analytics heavy MAcc? I'm also tacking on 2 graduate certificates in Applied Statistics and International Economic Policy? For those in the field, would that be useful or not useful (i.e. waste of time)? So I had my NIPT and NT scans last week and I’ve been getting pieces of the results back from my doctor in the patient portal. All seems okay but I’m a bit confused. Does anyone know if FirstScreen is the same thing as NIPT? I was under the impression that NIPT was in 90th percent of certainty for Down syndrome but the result we got, labeled FirstScreen indicate 83% certainty so I’m confused if there are more results coming? I messaged the doctor but haven’t heard back yet.

Any success stories out there of couples who come from different socioeconomic backgrounds? I’ve heard this difference (statistically) can be a huge barrier to success in a relationship. I’ll add more context in the comments if it helps.

CTR, contracts and department overhaul

our marketing dept is undergoing a complete overhaul. under old leadership, a $75k 12-mo contract was signed to a marketing group that handles our SEO, blog and everything Google Ads. All things I can and am in training to do. Current CTRs on G ads seem pitiful at no more than 0.75%. My meta ads coast around 4-6%. During this overhaul, would it be wise to not renew our contract, and negotiate for me to take over these roles and leverage a raise?

I’v been in digital marketing for almost 5 years. I want to switch to marketing operations or research, because I find I’m better at and more interested in market research, audience research than keyword research or writing ad copies. I applied for some marketing research and operations roles, but no luck.

I understand I don’t have enough direct experience and platform experience, like Nielsen.

My title is technically Marketing Lead but I want to put Head of Marketing on my LinkedIn etc. I think of these titles as totally interchangeable—I just like the way the second one reads better.
