Does anyone here use a remarkable tablet? Im a huge written notes person, but using traditional notebooks gets messy and disorganized.

A friend has one and swears by it because you get a pencil like feeling and the battery life is great compared to tablets. I personally use an iPad and Apple Pencil because I get more bang for my buck and have been fortunate enough to not get distracted easily while working because I keep it on DND. Plus the notifications on the iPad are slower than my phone because my iPads Wi-Fi only. So by the time it pops up on the iPad I’ve already checked it on my phone lol
I dont use Remarkable because their pricing plan is costly to migrate notes to cloud. I use Onyx boox note air - it is fully android and gives access to everything in Google playstore including kindle books and audible. Also, it has multiple cloud sync options unlike Remarkable. I can also suggest you Newly launched Kindle scribble which has similar wacom features but it has limitations because of Kindle fire OS and not android.
Same here! I love handwritten notes, feels like it just “sticks” better, but yeah $280 is a lot without at least touching this thing
Looks really cool. Love the functionality of a phone/iPad. But they’re way too distracting for me.
Thanks for asking this - I’ve been looking into reviews as well! Reddit has some thorough ones, if you’re interested.
My brain works better when I separate work tools from personal tools and I don’t want to get an iPad just for work, so was looking into this. I was thinking it would also give me the security of carrying all meeting notes with me instead of keeping old notebooks between the house and office.
I might take the plunge and consider it an ADHD tax - anything for a bit of relief.
I've had one for over a year and love it. It really has helped me stay organized
I don’t have remarkable, but like others I considered it but the uploading of notes monthly pricing plan deterred me. The iPad is costly but maybe getting a previous version will lower cost.
I use the good notes 5 app (very organized and can search your handwriting). On the premium version of the app I have like 8 notebooks already and just got it a month ago (for random work thoughts/idea, life thoughts, etc). I also got the paper like screen protector so it feels way more like paper.
I turned off ALL my notifications on the iPad so I don’t get distracted.
I have a Onyx Book, don’t use much for note taking, but read books on the Kindle app here and there.
I find myself taking notes on the laptop during a meeting more often than not.
I am in Manufacturing / Supply Chain, and have taken the Onyx book to a shop floor tour a few times but found it very inconvenient to hold and operate, where a small notepad would’ve been more appropriate and less pretentious around the factory floor folks.
