Would you stay living in a city you like but have very few friends there, or move back to your hometown where most of your friends and family are? My current city has a population of about 500k and my hometown is about 100k. My main reason to move away from my hometown was dating and jobs, but neither seem to be going any better over the past 2 years. COL is about 28% higher than my hometown and jobs don’t pay much better.

So I accepted an offer back in mid March but I didn’t negotiate it up and now I’m regretting it, because apparently you’re supposed to. I got a much higher salary than expected and a sign on bonus, and it’s been a while since I accepted the offer, and the start date is later this year…. Is it too late to ask for a bit more though? I had cleared my all rounds with Hexaware and had filled the CAF form , offer letter processing was pending from HR side .

I have been trying to connect to the HR from last 60 days and today I got to know that the HR has resigned from organisation. 🤦🏻

I got to know this because I put up a mail to the HR’s email and delivery failed saying that email does not exist
