GFS through PWC Help. It won’t be easy. If it’s not caught before the pay cycle, your pay will be taxed reducing net pay. It will be credited once fixed but it can take 2 pay cycles.

like

You can. Call PwC help

It took a friend of mine 6 months to fix a mistake like this and in the interim, she was still being taxed.

I did it once for a $1,500 hotel bill. PwC Help squares it away, and it reversed in the next paycheck

Have any of you quit to take a break - 3 month or a 6 month sabbatical to pursue other interests or just to clear your head and figure out what’s next. How easy was it to find a job after the break and how did you manage your health insurance? Any other things to keep in mind when considering a sabbatical beyond money?

Incoming 1st yr BigLaw associate (V50 in a big city). I am curious if there are networking benefits to having expensive work clothes/accessories. I went to school on scholarship so I don’t have tons of debt, but my parents aren’t rich so much of the culture is foreign to me. I have hobbies I would rather spend my discretionary income on. But if having a Rolex or wearing Brooks Brothers suits would improve my standing w partners or if dressing cheaper would hurt, then I’d suck it up. Pls advise

Ever heard “omg how are you single, you are fit, handsome and successful”. Gets on my nerves every time. I would like to be in a relationship but dating as a gay man is wack. All about sex, and the times I’ve caught feelings for a guy it’s not been “exciting” for him anymore as the “chase” is over. Apparently being available is a turnoff. And the comment “come on, you can get whom ever you want”..........

Hey mummas, I'm struggling with how I feel about my team at work. None of them, including my manager, have children and they just don't get it. I'm pregnant with my third and my manager has never once asked me how I'm doing, only ever refers to it in terms of me 'leaving' for maternity leave so he'll be a resource down. Never once asked how I'm coping with juggling wfh & full time caring for my children through covid, and icing on the cake my baby just recently.. (continued in comment)

Best consulting firms for healthcare providers?

Starting to learn more about FIRE and getting really excited about it. When they say save 50% of monthly income, is that including future savings like 401k and HSA? How do you save 50% when living in a HCOL city? My rent alone eats up like 35%. I also have student loans and car loans (which I got before learning about FIRE and finances). Thanks for all the insights!

Honestly the interviews seem more like meet and greets. Cont.

Would love your help negotiating an offer! I’m a manager with 4.5 YOE (promoted early), interviewed with a startup for a manager role, offer came back for associate role (associate role is entry level and requires 3-5 YOE, manager requires 6-8 YOE) at a 10% pay increase with EOM start date. I’m due to fully vest AND receive a bonus from my current firm in April and have not yet brought this up to the recruiter. Should I be concerned about a title cut / how should I handle April convo? Did I screw myself by being the first person to bring up salary figures with a startup? I tried to hold firm and make sure they said ballpark range first before I said if those align with my expectations, but she gave a vague “it depends on market, but I can give you a broad range from $45k-$90k for the role.” So I responded with $70k-$80k. Should I have asked for the highest range then of $80k-$90k? Worst case scenario, I don’t want it being revoked.
