Who would know that information unless they're very high up?????
This might work for very small firms but for big4 or regional that might be impossible, especially working from home. Even when we were in the office it was hard to know everyone in your office.
All big 4 firms will publicly disclose this in their annual audit quality reports. They are generally released and early as august through nov.
Maybe, but I doubt it. Everyone is facing the same issues, and firms generally like to disclose the same metrics YoY for comparison. I’d bet they’ll disclose it and explain why it occurred and what they are doing to address.
No idea for firm wide but my office lost 30 people in first 5.5 months of the year for audit
It was a mix of all levels. Had staff, seniors, manager and even above that. Leadership has been working on trying to address it and has spoken on it and is working on trying to hire more at all levels but it's going to take some time.
Hopefully they will keep their word and address with raises as that is partially part of the reason for the departures since there is so much industry jobs right now. Their has been vague words of saying that they will be comparable to not only our competitors but also industry but we shall see... No comp talks have happened in our office yet as far as I know
it's higher than normal, they are giving extra bonuses for people to stick around. It's an employees market atm
