WLB is pretty good for these type of roles. 50-60 hours max. On earnings season you will communicate with investors and give market outlooks, and depending on the role you could be doing some analytical work like financial modeling, pitches, market news publishing, etc. essentially a sales role but more analytical

Yes and no, not like everyday but you should be aware of market conditions, trend and anything going on in the alternative investment sector that’s key

It’s a sales job. Pitching the fund to investors to raise the money.

Hello fishes,

I have recently joined
Accenture and have experience in working with DSP/Syniti ADM data migration tool for the past 3.5 years. Now I am thinking if I can continue working on the same tool or if I can move to SAP BODS (not yet assigned to any proj and didn't receive any training on bods yet)

Which ETL tool is better in terms of growth, pay, demand and scope? Pls pour in your suggestions. TIA

I don’t know why but this made me LOL! 🤣😭

Tax question - I make about $200k and get half of my income from a W-2 and another half from being an independent contractor. Because, I’m subject to pay both FICA and SECA taxes. Do my social security taxes get capped on amounts paid above the ~$140k threshold across both my W-2 and 1099 incomes or am I out of luck and have to pay more than that since only about 100k of my income is FICA and the other 100K is SECA (which is subject to ~12% overall including the ER portion)?

Asked for a raise and was told to wait for the annual raise period even though I was doing extra stuff on top of doing my job at a very high level and they would not budge at all. I started looking around 2 months ago and I just signed an offer for a new position with a raise just above 50% of my current salary. Know your worth and go get it!!!

Does anyone else constantly get mistaken for a nurse? I get it, I'm 5'4 and Black and work in pediatrics, but the assumption and casual racism is kind of ridiculous when the actual nurse has just told you that the doctor's coming and then I walk in the door. Doesn't really help when I'm one of the only Black on-call physicians. Annoying.

I’m currently a tax accountant with 5 YOE. I want to move into a business analyst role I’ve applied for entry level positions (competition is wild) and willing to get certs. I have great hard and soft skills that should transfer pretty well. Any advice on getting the ball rolling? Should I get a mentor? I’ve seen a lot of layoffs too which kind of makes me wonder if it’s worth it.
