Loan payment question. I have two federal loans. One has no accumulated interest and is ~$110k. One has about $19k of accumulated interest (I previously made an embarrassingly low amount of money), but the total is ~$140k. While the interest is still frozen, do I: 1) make payments on the $110k principal amount only to maximize driving it down; 2) make payments on the $140k principal amount only to maximize driving it down; 3) make payments on the $19k of interest on the $140k loan; or 4) ??

I have about $45k in a CD that just matured. I’m thinking about placing it probably in index or mutual funds but have only basic finance knowledge and am not sure about which or how to split. Advice??

Would you consider pulling money through cash out refi and using it? I get nervous for stocks being so high. I have a few properties in pipeline already. How would you suggest using it (if at all).

We are renovating a condo and the previous owner had two Crane toilets (not sure how old, but functioning although seals are old according to our contractor). Back outlet flour mount ones are the only options for the building, and one toilet can cost $300-$500.

My partner’s income was excluded in the DI ratio, but if it were included we’d be well under the % threshold and can be approved to close on time regardless of the sale of my house. In process of buying a house, both my surveyor and specialist damp contractor found damp under kitchen tiles (In the grout) & in skirting boards and up one wall. Sellers had work done initially in 2014 on the wall only(with garuntee) & their company has visited and assured there is no damp… what is next best course of action, get another damp specialist to examine independently of other reports? I don’t trust them….. (U.K. Victorian terrace, damp is in the kitchen extension built circa. 15 y/o)
