How long does LTI take to roll out offer? Interviews done by March 20, HR asked for documents which was shared by March 30..

Why do recruiters never tell you which agency they want to talk to you about until they get you on the phone? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time and it would be helpful to know this info from the initial outreach. My experience with this only applies to healthcare, but would imagine it’s the same in consumer as well. Anyone?

Ghosting after on-site interviews is despicable. Recruiting has been a part of my job for years in addition to resourcing & project management, and I would always manage to reply emails.

When I was a device driver developer with 2 years relevant experience I had got calls from Nvidia and Qualcomm. Unfortunately I wasn't able to crack the interviews back then.

For next 5 years I worked mostly on application development and broadening my exposure. I am not getting even a single call from such companies now.

Is it a good idea to rebrand myself as a device driver developer so that I can get calls again?

Tampa lawyers who work downtown: where do you live? Looking to purchase a house soon and am trying to decide between a low commute time (crappier house and a tight move financially) and a longer commute time (nicer house and more comfortable financially). The longer commute time also comes with better public schools, and I want to have kids.

Holland & Knight matched the new Cravath scale recently, but they didn’t apply it to any Florida office except Miami. What do we think this means for Tampa market salaries? Are they likely to bump again, or stay the same?
