Yeah, don't think its at all necessary to disclose that information. If they're not asking why you left a job, no need to tell them your whole life's story.
The person knew not to disclose. It comes up on the U5 and Barclays asked the candidate about it which he felt better to be honest then lie
It would depend on why that ex-employee got fired. If it was because they were reducing staff, then yes. On the other hand, if it was for disciplinary action, it might be thought. Also, why would someone want to go back to a place they got fired?
He was fired for “Violation of professional conduct policy and failure to adhere to phone guidelines” he was not fired from Barclays this is a new job he received an offer from but it came up on his U5 that he was fired so they asked him about it
It would really depend on the reason he was fired. It would probably be a long shot but it's worth the try.
