I’m being taken advantage of with being thrown so much work and really don’t see my salary increasing to be in line with my coworkers doing similar work. I’m a consistent high performer - management reviews tell me that much.

My coworker did mention to the manager that they’re not being paid well for the work they do, and our manager took it personally and told them they’re ungrateful 🥲

Im a pastry cook with 4yrs experience and the average salary start for this position is now at $22/hr here in vegas, especially in the strip. But cooking/baking is not my passion. So im changing into veterinary medicine and im seeing that the starting rate for a vet tech is around $16-18. Why is that?? Why are people in the vet med industry being paid so low?? I completed all the round TR, PDM and HR round for IBM. Discussed with HR she confirmed the compensation and sent Candidate Information form and BGV form to fill. I have filled and submitted and got some accomodation form and cognitive assesment link. Is this the normal process. Can someone please confirm the steps you followed when selected for IBM.
