Does it make sense for me to try to go from data science/analysis to investment banking? I'm moving away from the DC area to MN and have been looking at jobs over there but not sure how to set up my resume or if it's even feasible. No finance exp so maybe MBA first?

Hello! I am graduating this coming December with an M.S in Biomedical Engineering (Emphasis in Comp. Sci.) and B.S in Computer Engineering. I have had 5 internships at a pretty cool company (I would say), but have recently discovered the world of product management and got to experience a small taste of it through a role in a startup project. I would really love to break into the PM world and I am applying to the APM and RPM programs, but I am very I unconfident I get an interview. Any advice?

Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Currently work in the fund of funds space - moving over to my firm’s hedge fund research team soon so CAIA seemed like a perfect way to get knowledge in the area beforehand. I’m almost one year out of undergrad (econ background) so a lot of the CAIA content is new to me

After 2 years of a pandemic and working independently for many years, I am not feeling interviews AT ALL. There are points in the interview where I want to just say "Look! Either hire me or don't".

How can I get over this feeling? I'm over the whole "stand in the line of fire to prove how good I am" bs. Any recommendations for getting over this or possible industries to pivot into to avoid bs interview processes and ghosting?

Had an Engineering interview Thursday and it went well. Was told the owner was out of town and they would be in touch to schedule the next interview with the management team. Got the email yesterday about scheduling the next interview, they asked my availability for this week. I replied back about 90 minutes later.

Fast forward to today, Wednesday, and I haven't heard anything back. I called twice to follow up, but went to VM. Do I send another email?
