Does P&T do anything for promotion day? Seems awkward for us on virtual teams to go to a celebration where we don’t really know anyone. But also sorta lame if we just don’t do anything that day or treat it like a normal workday… Not planning to attend since I only know a few people in my office, but if they organized something where we can meet people in P&T and celebrate together I’d be more inclined to go.

Promotion from consultant to senior consultant, and senior consultant to manager - what was your raise/ new pkg increment?

Any recommendations to make sure I get a good year-end review (and raise)? Im a second year attorney at a good firm doing insurance defense. I have no billing requirement. My firm doesn’t really do bonuses, but they do annual raise. I get along well with the partners. I’m looking for ways to go the extra mile and make sure my review is good.

Has anyone ever seen Accenture counter an offer for a Consultant? I’ve got an offer elsewhere for 40% more base but wanted to see if there was any chance ACN could counter with a off cycle raise or one off bonus?

A HR question I really want to understand. ISRS HR quoted a podcast "The not so great resignation" saying 70% regret leaving and many want to go back to old employer. If this really the case the employee likely left due to higher pay at the new company. If they want to boomerang back they will likely come back at even a higher rate than they left the new company for. So getting double raise when they boomeranged. Isn't it unbeneficial, why not just give employee a 7% raise in the first place?

I was given a promotion 6mos ago & told that the position was a lateral move & a raise would be given at my 6 month mark. Throughout my time at time at this company I’ve realized that they call people in to give their raise on the exact date of milestones (i.e: 6 mos, 1yr, & so on). It’s now been one week since my 6 months in this new position. I’d like to reach out to my boss and set up a meeting to review my work & discuss a raise. Should I wait a bit longer or should I set this up now?

How does a person change their mindset to be more positive? I feel like I’m meant for my job, but blame all my life problems on it….having no energy, being single at the age of 30, etc. and it seems like a never ending loop. I look for new jobs, realize I have a good job then am ok for a bit then start it all over again. When I’m off of work I’m fine and realize I have it pretty good. Only real negative is I can’t vacation with my family in March due to my busy time.
