Looking for a home office chair…I need something really ergonomic/comfortable but given the visibility of the office in the house the wife wants something stylish. She keeps calling all my ideas ‘gamer chairs’ even though they’re definitely not. Anyone have any chairs they really like that may be worth looking at? Steel Case vs Herman Miller

Is Herman Miller the undeniable winner in the office chair market or is Steel Case a contender for first?

When I was hired, I don't recall being informed about my salary being tied to my location. My employment contract also only makes one mention of location, and says "home office" and my state. I was recently told by HR though that if I move, my comp. will be lower. Is this legal? Should I consult a labor lawyer?

In my mind, I don't recall being told this and it's not clear from my employment contract, so I feel like they're breaking our agreement, and it feels unfair.

I accepted an offer from another consulting firm and my H1B visa has also been transferred. I have not joined the new role yet. However I had been interviewing with another firm and expecting an offer I know this is not the best practice but is it allowed to accept another offer even though H1 transfer has been approved through another employer?
