Dreaming too big, or is it just as hard as ** to be a management consultant?

I was struggling with my sexual identity, and then I messed up my high school study, ending up at a normal college.

I worked hard for some years and got promoted (In Asia). During Covid, I did my MBA in the UK to change my career path.

Maybe I don't speak perfect English like a native, or I don't have a fancy CV like other candidates, I don't have positive feedback yet.

How would you advise me to pursue the dream?

Which offer should I accept? Currently staff 2 at big 4 in Tax with CPA license. I want to leave tax ASAP. Both are public companies +1B in revenue and same salary. Offer 1 - staff revenue accountant so reading contracts, speaking with the sales team and legal team, a lot of work at the end of the months to close books and reconcile transactions to make sure we are ASC 606 compliant. First-year tax staff that started end of Q3, and just had my first year-end performance evaluation meeting. You are important to the project, but never so important that you cannot leave the project or firm for better opportunities. Being in hero mode is good where you save the day, everyday - but in fact that is neither advisable for your progression nor a recommended practice for the firm. If you have been performing and have had decent social skills, you will not have burnt a bridge when you leave.
