Dreaming too big, or is it just as hard as ** to be a management consultant?

I was struggling with my sexual identity, and then I messed up my high school study, ending up at a normal college.

I worked hard for some years and got promoted (In Asia). During Covid, I did my MBA in the UK to change my career path.

Maybe I don't speak perfect English like a native, or I don't have a fancy CV like other candidates, I don't have positive feedback yet.

How would you advise me to pursue the dream?

Your honest and wise advice has given me a lot of inspiration and helped me to discover some blind spots. I am very grateful for your honesty!

Would you mind me keeping you posted and asking you for insights in the future? I also want to let you know how much I will grow following your suggestions.

Could you be a little more concise?

Hi there. Sorry for the messy and lengthy story.
After my MBA, I tried to apply for a management consultant role at some firms but got no positive feedback. Mostly, I got rejected at the first stage without taking an online assessment. How can I increase my chance?

Firstly.. you didn't define what your dream is (I can infer that it's getting a job in consulting but I had to read your post more than once to even understand that)

Rather than native level English being your issue.. I think it is that you're not a structured communicator/thinker. You need to work on that. Sorry if the comment is too direct but no point otherwise

These are great suggestions. I have been checking on these for days, and I found these are as great as you introduced.

Should be easy to crack management consulting for you. Apply and good luck!

You got this!

What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?

It can be impossible to deal with financial losses due to declining health or unforeseen circumstances by not having life insurance. In these cases, the solution to your debts (that can affect the financial stability of you or your loved ones) may fall within the category of life insurance.

I don’t know who needs to hear this (mostly As, Cs, SCs, and some Ms) but here goes.

You are important to the project, but never so important that you cannot leave the project or firm for better opportunities. Being in hero mode is good where you save the day, everyday - but in fact that is neither advisable for your progression nor a recommended practice for the firm. If you have been performing and have had decent social skills, you will not have burnt a bridge when you leave.
